As I stepped away from my work whilst my children were growing up, re-engaging has been an interesting process. I have found that as I have grown, changed, aged, my work is also moving, changing and reshaping so I have been spending time experimenting and exploring new ideas, styles, leaning into the creative process and figuring out what feels joyful for me to create.
This particular piece was a lot of fun to create and was inspired by the many artists I follow and am inspired by. I love drawing on different ideas, concepts, internalising them and then transposing them onto canvas with my own signature style.
I hope you get as much joy from looking at it as I did from creating it!
