Workshop Terms and Conditions

The terms set out bellow apply for all Isha Knill Art Workshop’s/classes/in-person parties/online courses. 

Attending a Workshop

Please note, once registration has been completed for any Isha Knill Art workshop/class/online course you are agreeing to comply with the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out below and will be incorporated into a contract (“Contract”) between us.

Any other person attending an Isha Knill Art workshop/class in person with you or on your behalf shall also be bound to comply with the terms outlined below.  The Contract is made when Isha Knill Art sends you a booking confirmation. 

Refunds/Cancellations  

Refunds of workshops/classes/online courses will only be given if:

Workshop/class/online course is cancelled or rescheduled due to teacher illness or insufficient enrolments.  Minimum enrolments are required for all in-person workshops/classes.

Should a workshop/class be cancelled due to the above reasons, all enrolled participants will be contacted with an alternative workshop/class date.

Participants wishing to withdraw from a workshop/class must notify Isha Knill Art a minimum of 7 days prior to the date of the workshop/class.  Should participant notify Isha Knill Art within the 7 days period leading up to the workshop commencing, no refund will be issued. 

When a refund cannot be provided:

Isha Knill Art does not accept responsibility for changes to participants’ personal circumstances which lead to participants non- attendance, nor can they accept ‘change of mind’ or ‘postponements.  Nor can Isha Knill Art accept accept responsiblity due to Government restrictions’ (government restrictions including (but not limited to) national and worldwide pandemics).

If a workshop/class is postponed due to health and safety concerns created by unexpected and extreme circumstances such as unforeseen and unusual weather conditions (such as fire, rain) or pandemic conditions.  If a workshop/class is postponed due to a pandemic, or unforeseen and unusual weather conditions (whether through Government restrictions or concerns about attendee’s health and safety) tickets will remain valid and will not be cancelled but will be rescheduled when it is safe to do so. 

Please be advised it is the participants responsibility to remember to attend a workshop/class.  Should participants forget their attendance date, tickets are non-refundable.

If you are unhappy with your artwork whilst attending an Isha Knill Art workshop/class or after it is transported home, please see our limitation of liabilities below.

Refunds and Cancellations – Private Workshop/Class In-Person Parties

All private workshop/classes and parties require a non-refundable 25% upfront deposit.  The remainder payment is required 7 days before the workshop date.

Cancellation of the workshop/class/in-person party must be provided to Isha Knill Art as soon as possible to avoid cancellation fees to defray expenses.

Workshops/classes/in-person parties will be postponed if government restrictions (including (but not limited to) pandemics and unforeseen and unusual weather conditions) are implemented and no refund will be provided.  Tickets will remain valid and workshops/classes/in-person parties will be rescheduled when it is safe to do so, or credits provided for future workshops.

Limitations or Liability

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by us to ensure security and safety whilst attending an Isha Knill Art in-person workshop/class, we shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you whatsoever in relation to the workshop/class, save that nothing in these “Terms” shall be deemed to limit the liability of any person for death or personal injury caused by negligence.  

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, any fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability for which it is unlawful to exclude or limit liability.

Our total liability for any matter arising out of the Contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the Workshop and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.

​We cannot guarantee how your artwork looks during a workshop neither do we take any responsibility for your artwork or how it dries once you leave the workshop/class.

Your Obligations

If you act in any way which is in Isha Knill Art’s opinion likely to cause harm or nuisance to any other attendee, you will be required to leave and Isha Knill Art will not be liable to refund your ticket fee or for any other payment. 

You are required to comply at all times with the health and safety policy of the venue and in accordance with Isha Knill Art’s health and safety policy.  Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the workshop/class.  Should this occur, no refund will be provided.

You may not bring in any equipment or items deemed to be of hazardous or dangerous in nature both to the workshop/class, attendee’s or venue. 

You are solely liable for any damaged caused by you, or any parties attending with you to any such area of the venue and shall fully reimburse Isha Knill Art in relation to any damage so caused by you or any person in your party.

It is always your responsibility to keep all personal belongings with you.  Isha Knill Art accepts no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought with you during attendance at an Isha Knill Art workshop/class/in-person party.

Photography and Video

Photographs and videos may be taken for marketing purposes.  If you do not wish to be photographed, please let the instructor know before the workshop/class/in-person party begins.  Photography and/or video’s may be used to promote further programs via Isha Knill Art’s social media channels, marketing materials and website.
